Zoot is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Windows Server Administration to join our IT team. This role involves managing and maintaining our on-premises Windows Server environments, both physical and virtual. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of Entra ID, Active Directory, Network Policy Server (NPS), DNS, Group Policy, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), and basic experience with on-premises Exchange Server. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting is highly desired.
The IT Organization within Zoot is responsible for designing, constructing and maintaining the foundational information technology systems employed by the company to do business. This includes all aspects of the live hosting environment for our proprietary software as well as the desktop environments in use for each employee.

- Server Administration:
- Monitor, configure, and maintain physical and virtual Windows Servers, including Exchange Server environments.
- Perform regular server updates, patches, and backups to maintain system security and reliability.
- Troubleshoot server and Exchange-related issues, implementing effective solutions.
- Exchange Server Management:
- Support the administration and maintenance of on-premises Exchange Server, including user mailbox management and server health monitoring.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving Exchange-related issues and ensuring email service availability.
- Active Directory and Group Policy:
- Manage Active Directory (AD) users, groups, and organizational units (OUs) with a focus on accurate and consistent device configurations.
- Create, modify, and enforce Group Policies to ensure adherence to organizational standards.
- DNS and NPS:
- Administer and troubleshoot Domain Name System (DNS) services, ensuring secure DNS configurations and practices.
- Manage Network Policy Server (NPS) settings and policies to support secure network access.
- System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM):
- Assist in deploying and managing software updates, applications, and operating systems through SCCM, ensuring consistent deployment practices.
- Monitor SCCM performance and address reported issues.
- Entra ID:
- Utilize Entra ID for user authentication and authorization management, following best practices for identity and access management.
- Assist in integrating Entra ID with on-premises systems and troubleshoot related reported issues.
- Application Support and PowerShell Scripting:
- Provide support for various applications hosted on Windows Server environments.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine administrative tasks and enhance server management.
- Security Best Practices:
- Adhere to best practices and organizational policies in all aspects of server and application administration.
- Participate in training and stay updated on industry best practices.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate documentation of server and application configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps with an emphasis on best practices.
- Generate regular reports on server and application performance, incidents, and non-compliant activities.
- Compliance with and knowledge of Zoot’s Policies and Procedures, Code of Business Conduct, and Employee Agreement.
- Achieve a service-focused culture with emphasis on delivering on-time, high-quality products and services to internal customers.

- All positions at Zoot require the ability to move about inside an office environment which includes the operation of computers and other office productivity machinery and frequently communicates with other employees, clients, vendors, and visitors.
- This position specifically requires long periods of sitting at a computer workstation.
- This position will take place primarily in an office setting.
- While travel is not likely, an occasional travel may occur to support alternate locations or Zoot entities.
- The IT Corporate Administrator position is fast paced and ever changing and requires one to regularly manage changing priorities.
- Occasional on-call, nighttime and weekend work is required within this position.
