Helpdesk Analyst I

Summary:
Serve as the first point of contact for help desk calls and emails during standard business hours and provide onsite technical support for end-users. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts, and supporting Windows, Microsoft Office products, and a variety of desktop applications and hardware.
Duties:
- Provide Tier 1 phone and email support to users for a variety of systems and applications.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for Saturday support from 8 AM to 12 PM.
- Manage user accounts and access control for multiple systems.
- Troubleshoot and support Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office products, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, etc.
- Deploy and image desktops/laptops using system management tools.
- Provide support for desktop applications and hardware such as Citrix, phone applications, Epic, Adobe Acrobat, Malwarebytes, Microsoft Defender, credit card readers, scanners, fingerprint readers, desk phones, etc.
- Perform software updates, including Windows and driver/BIOS updates.
- Handle PC hardware repairs and printer installations.
- Document systems, processes, and resolutions in detail.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
- Comptia A+ certification or equivalent experience
- Must be located in or willing to commute to Cincinnati.
- Willingness to travel to Dayton offices 1-2 days per week.
- Preferred: Basic networking knowledge, including the use of tools like ping and traceroute to identify network issues and patch unused network ports.
