Job Summary
An individual in this role should have a solid grasp of the compliance obligations surrounding technology environments. This role will coordinate all tactical IT risk, compliance, controls, awareness, and policy management activities. This role should be looked to as a resource for other employees to consult regarding technology risks and compliance obligations. Strong organization and facilitation skills are required.
Job Responsibilities
- Work with the Information Security & Compliance Senior Manager to define, implement, and maintain IT Compliance Programs & Activities and ensure all IT Compliance obligations are met.
- Design and implement compliance gap remediation plans in partnership with business and IT personnel.
- Maintain a current understanding of the regulatory landscape and emerging technologies and how they may impact Vail Resorts.
- Facilitate Employee Security Awareness & Training Activities.
- Create, Maintain, & Communicate IT Policies & Procedures.
- Work with internal and external auditors to ensure proper support of all compliance and regulatory work.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships through individual contacts and group meetings; interact with process owners and various levels of management.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience as an IT Auditor, IT Risk Analyst, or similar role.
- Cross Functional Team Management Experience preferred
- Normal Proficiency on Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of SOX and PCI
- CISA, CISSP, etc. are desired but not required
- Firm grasp of the following concepts: technology risk management, control design/implementation, business process reengineering, etc.
- Bachelors Degree
