The All Source Analyst (Cyber Analyst) is Responsible for planning and synchronizing offensive cyberspace operations (OCO) in support of non-lethal and information operations targeting actions. Conducting coordination, synchronization, de-confliction, and execution of cyber targeting effects in support of SOCKOR with a variety of commands (e.g., Cyber Command (CYBERCOM), United States Forces Korea (USFK), United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM), and Service component commands (SCCs)). Serving as a cyber and joint targeting subject-matter expert (SME) for SOCKOR OCO operational planning teams (OPTs), CYBERCOM, and other joint and interagency OPTs and working groups, as directed. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Recommends alternative methodologies, resources, and work approaches; and interprets, correlates, and defends all relevant assessments of judgment in terms of all cyber objectives.
- Acts as the IPE subject matter expert from concept to finish of all pending operations, planning and force design issues and requirements between IPE, ARCYBER and USCC involving cyber/intelligence operational matters, to include requests for assistance and support, referrals and leads for cyber action, targeting, policy initiatives and proposals, and requests for Army cyber operations.
- Provides Army cyber/intelligence policy and doctrinal briefings, advice, guidance, and recommendations, as appropriate.
- Ensures IPE leadership (Director and Executive Director) are kept fully apprised of key issues, significant developments, and any other issues of importance, which may positively or negatively affect the effectiveness of unit strategies or plans.
- Serves as the centralized point of contact on all matters relating to the conduct of multi-intelligence/cyber unit missions and activities that affect the equities or operational interest of either IPE or its supported Combatant Command (CCMD), in support of long-term theater cyber/intelligence or operational goals.
- Keeps informed of both the CCMD operational environment and the cyberspace specific operational environment as appropriate to anticipate developments, conduct timely and effective planning, and develop options for the SOCKOR Commander.
- Drive cyber requirements and packages during exercises in support of SOCKOR missions.
- Live and work in an operational environment when required (e.g., semiannual exercises operating from CP Tango, FOS-I, USAG-Daegu).
- The work of this position is sedentary; however, light physical effort is required.
- The work is typically performed in an adequately lit and climate-controlled office.
- This position shall be designated a Mission Essential Contractor (MEC).
