DescriptionChubb is seeking an experienced leader to spearhead our global identity management (IdM) program. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive IdM strategy that aligns with our business objectives, strengthens security posture, improves our operational resiliency, and enhances the customer experience. This role requires a deep technical and conceptual understanding of IdM principles, technologies, and best practices, coupled with the leadership skills to lead a ~50-person team and navigate a complex global organization. The position has a dual line reporting relationship with IT infrastructure and information security.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of a global IdM strategy aligned with business needs, security requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and ongoing management of IdM technology solutions across the organization.
- Ensure the effective integration of IdM solutions with existing IT infrastructure and security architecture.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business and technology functions.
- Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for user provisioning, authentication, access management, privileged access, and identity governance.
- Foster a culture of security awareness and best practices within the IdM organization.
- Manage a team of IdM specialists and ensure their professional development.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in the IdM space.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive budget and resource allocation plan for the IdM program.
- Communicate effectively with senior management on IdM initiatives, operations, and risks.
Qualifications- Minimum 12 years of experience in identity management, with a proven track record of success in leading and implementing large-scale IdM programs in global organizations.
- Strong understanding of IdM concepts, technologies, and best practices (e.g., Identity Governance, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, multi-factor authentication, recertification).
- Experience with leading IdM vendors and solutions (e.g., Microsoft Azure AD, Ping Identity, Entrust, SailPoint, and Oracle).
- Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience working in a global environment.
- Bachelor's degree.
- CISSP, CISA, or other relevant security certifications are a plus.
