The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for overseeing the technology strategy and direction of the company. The CIO will lead the IT department, manage the development and execution of enterprise-wide IT strategies, and ensure that technology solutions align with business goals. This executive position requires the ability to innovate and drive transformation, leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency, enhance customer experience, and support long-term business growth.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• A master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or Information Systems is preferred.
• Minimum of (10-15) years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving digital transformation and implementing large-scale IT projects.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISM, or CISSP are advantageous.
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role with a focus on operations management – International experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in developing and implementing operational strategies and initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to drive growth, efficiency and profitability.
• Financial acumen and budget management skills (understanding of industry ratios and plus).
• Ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Adaptability and resilience in managing change and uncertainty.
