LexVeritas is a scale up legal operations provider focusing on Finance, IT and People & Culture services. We provide outsourced solutions to mid-tier law firms across Australia. We are looking for the right person to come along on our journey, be a leader in the business and a genuine business partner to our clients. We are looking for someone to help us scale and continue to build our IT offering and lead us into a new season of growth for our IT team. The CIO role reports into the CEO.
The Nitty Gritty
Some of the day-to-day things you'll be doing:
• Producing, maintaining, communicating, and implementing IT strategies on behalf of our clients (and for us)
• Managing a team to ensure provision of secure ICT services through effective risk management strategies.
• Identifying and evaluating opportunities for business-led innovation and development to deliver ICT solutions that meet our internal and client needs.
• Establishing and maintaining strong stakeholder and strategic supplier relationships
• Helping the team to evaluate and select best practice ICT solutions to streamline our processes, designing and customising technological systems and platforms, including the use of latest technologies embracing AI and/or Predictive Analysis
• Overseeing a team who manage technological infrastructure (networks/computer systems) for optimal performance.
• Monitoring changes/advancements to discover ways we can gain competitive advantage (and provide this to our clients)
• Analysing and managing costs, value, and risks of IT
• Ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability of group assets, information, data and IT services through policies/standards and procedures.
• Implement business strategies and plans that align with the short- and long-term objectives developed in tandem with CEO
• Build and maintain trusting relationships with key prospects, clients, partners, and stakeholders
• Spot opportunities in the market to drive growth of the business.
• Drive increased business revenue by identifying and developing new opportunities and building and expanding the presence of the company.
• Researching emerging trends and recommending new company offerings to satisfy customers’ needs.
• Finding potential partnership opportunities; and
• Assist in the development of marketing strategies.

• Your extensive experience integrating cutting edge enterprise systems across business functions.
• Experience running a team to deliver mission critical 24/7 technical operations and distributed IT support & helpdesk functions.
• Leading large-scale projects from start to finish, working with internal/external teams.
• Creative, strategic and thoughtful “hands-on” leadership experience
• Sound understanding of agile methodology, AI and data analytics.
• Ability to drive revenue and growth of a business.
