ONSITE UNIX or Linux System Security Administrators in Silicon Valley, CA (up to 18 mos project)
***MUST have an active TS/SCI clearance w/CI Poly (or higher clearance)***
REQUIREMENTS:
- TS/SCI Security Clearance with CI Polygraph Required
- US Citizenship required at this facility
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
- Must possess a CISSP, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8572 qualified certificate (or obtain within the first 60 days of employment)
- 4+ years experience with UNIX or Linux (RHEL) operating systems
- Install operating system security patchesand firmware updates
- Create/manage security groups, access management, orIAM
- Performing routine server/workstation patching/packaging per guidelines
- Coordinate hardware repair activities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/softwareproblems/issues
- Proficiency in scripting (bash/shell, Ansible, or Python, etc.)
- Successfully install/tune/optimization of UNIX or Linux server and associated hardware
- Successfully install/configure software applications and programs
- Experience administering virtual machines with VMWare ESXi
HIGHLY PREFERRED (but NOT required):
- Any Linux certs: RHCE, RHCSA, RHCVA, LPI, etc.
- Familiar with Security Linux (SELinux) or CyberSecurity
- Experience with vulnerability remediation and security management (system hardening, log management, configuration management [i.e., Nessus, ACAS, SCAP, Trellix, Splunk, Nagios, HBSS])
- Create/edit Standard Operating Instructions (SOI) documentation
- Managing servers in a disconnected environment
