About HAXIO
At HAXIO, our mission is to help manufacturing companies improve the quality of the products that we end up consuming everyday. In order to do so, we are currently developing the easiest and most versatile deep-learning based vision software for quality inspection processes. By deploying our AI-based software directly on our proprietary edge accelerator, manufacturers can deploy an automated inspection solution on any machine vision or video surveillance cameras in less than 30 minutes.
Since the launch of the company a little more than a year ago, HAXIO has experienced interesting growth with the opening of offices in Montreal and Mexico City and the implementation of a dozen systems in manufacturing companies.
Today, the team is growing as we look for the ‘’one-in-a-million’’ Full stack Software Engineer/Developer that will join our Product development team.
About the position
As a Full stack Software Engineer, you will have a key role that will lead you to work both on the front and back end of our product development that involves computer vision and artificial intelligence, participate in the development of the strategic roadmap of our product as well as collaborate with our data science team. We are looking for a motivated and ambitious person who will be one of the first 10 members of the HAXIO team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering, or several years of experience.
- Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React and Node.
- Knowledge of database and container technologies (Postgre and Docker).
- Understanding of key design principles and sense of pride in esthetic and easy to use products.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high self-reliance and self-accountability.
- Keen interest in developing artificial intelligence technologies (deep learning, continuous learning).
- Functional English and French, spoken and written.
Bonus assets
- Knowledge/experience with GraphQL
- Hands-on experience in Agile development (Scrum)
- Experience with Azure DevOps or related team collaboration tools
- Knowledge of machine-learning/DL techniques and related Python libraries (Pytorch, TensorFlow).
- Knowledge in cloud computing technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP).
