Job Description:
Capgemini America, Inc. has multiple openings for
the position of Software
Engineer 2 based out of its Chicago, IL U.S. headquarters. The employee may also
work at various unanticipated locations. S/he will perform the following
duties\: design/develop/maintain IT applications and their components or
environments, based on Software Architecture models/principles; code/integrate/implement/install/change
frameworks and standard application components; perform technical/functional
applications management; develop languages/methods/frameworks/tools to support
server-based databases in development/test/production environments; execute
project work plans in the field; initiate/maintain client relationships for the
purpose of analyzing user needs through research/data analysis; and
develop/implement related technical solutions for clients.
Basic Qualifications:
This
position requires a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer
Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Business Administration, Engineering
(any), or closely related field plus at least 2 years of experience in the job
offered, as Programmer/Developer, Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Tester or
related IT position. The applicant must also have\: any period of experience
working with software application development and integration tools, including
IBM Websphere, TIBCO, Webmethods, Hybris, Adobe, AWS, Azure, or Google; any period
of experience using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and emerging trends;
any period of experience working with software development methodologies,
including Agile or Waterfall; and any period of experience with working with
SDLC processes and methodologies.
