Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Discovery and Protection of confidential data
- Scanning of data using different Discovery tools
- Will execute test cases for Quality Control on data reports for breach events, sensitive data discovery reports
- Creation and validation of Discovery report
- Partnership with Discovery leads, managers and other internal team members
- Partnership across the enterprise with GIS, Risk, and Audit
- Ensure Processes and solutions are performed within Enterprise standard
Required Qualifications:
- Over 7 years of experience in data management and analysis, with a proven track record of driving business insight and growth.
- Proficient in RDBMS with strong understanding of data modeling, normalization and database design principle's.
- Skilled in MySQL , PostgreSQL, and SQL server, with experience in database administration and performance tuning.
- Skilled in writing SQL queries for data analysis and reporting, with experience in data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Hands on experience on Excel.
- Exposure to Hadoop/ ETL / Unix and flexibility to learn new tools
- Prior QA/QC experience- particularly in Database and Data Files validation using excel and SQL
- Understanding of Data Privacy elements and confidential data.
- Strong communication .
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge about REGEX’s
- Good analytical ability and problem solving skills
- Python or Mainframe JCL scripting
- Program management skills a plus
- Experience in any of the Sensitive Data Discovery/Data Profiling/Data Masking Products will be a big Plus
- Experience in any testing automation tools or scripting will be a big plus
