About The Role

Design and develop software applications. Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; and following the software development lifecycle.
- Supports and develops software engineers by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities.
- Coordinates with DevOps Engineers to improve CI/CD and deliver solutions.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop a shared technology roadmap based on business needs.
- Research new technologies, advancements and industry improvements in order to stay abreast of the latest developments and enhance the success of the company.
- Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
- Lead the development of a technical solution that meets the needs of the business and aligns with architectural standards.
- Design, maintain, and implement automated test cases for functional, API, load, and end-to-end tests.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5-year’s work in website/software developer, engineer or related position.
- Knowledge of modern software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices in the financial services industry.
- Advanced C#/.NET/.Net Core.
- Proficient in JavaScript/vue.js.
- Advanced knowledge of ORM’s such as Entity Framework, Dapper or Bookshelf.js.
- Experience with AWS cloud offerings such as Lambda, API Gateway, Event Bridge, App Sync, Aurora, S3, CloudFront, and Azure Active Directory.
- Strong experience with SQL databases preferably SQL Server including schema design and optimization.
- Experience creating and consuming REST and SOAP APIs with strong knowledge of REST standards
- Proficient with at least one front-end framework such as React.js/Vue.js/Angular with a preference on Vue.js.
- Automated unit test and integration test experience. Able to evaluate and implement testing strategies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent follow-up.
- Able to lead projects by defining requirements, building projects tasks and conducting capacity planning/time estimates.
COMPENSATION
- $100,00.00-$130,000.00/ year
