Software Engineer Lead can determine their career goals through the career progression to a role such as Software Engineering Manager, progress to a title such as Director Of Software Development and then eventually end up with the title Director Of Software Development.
Job Responsibilities:
A Software Engineer Lead is focused on developing and testing software programs. They manage a team of software engineers that design enterprise software products and operating systems.
- Manage development and production server environments in Linux.
- Manage entire QA process from requirements documentation to final release testing.
- Manage technical investigations of software and database problems; coordinating between users and developers, and developing fixes or recommending workarounds.
- Develop a system for sending newsletters & promotional mails to customers using PHP, PostgresSQL, HTML, Jquery and MailChimp.
- Change the look and feel of the data using CSS, JQuery in the SharePoint pages.
- Enhance visualization and user friendly front-end are designed and develop using JSP, HTML, CSS.
- Develop training for the engineers as well as trained the engineering staff in the use of SQL and database technologies.
- Develop C++ and Java tools to perform monitoring and analysis of dynamic memory allocation and graphics image conversions.
- Used JSON to transfer request from the web page to the server.
- Develop an RTF to HTML conversion engine.
- Expand PHP testing framework for easier unit and functional testing.
- Work with PL/SQL scripts to gather data and perform manipulations.
- Keep the JIRA update with the approach discussions and implementation details.
- Complete a project of data access control by using PL/SQL store procedures.
- Introduce code review process and integrate with issue reporting system (JIRA).
