- You must hold a current TS clearance and able to upgrade
- Possess Five (5)+ years of experience as a systems administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Having a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4)+ years of additional software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to complete development work on the high-side Linux environment
- Security+ certification
- Java experience (any level of experience is acceptable)
- Python experience (any level of experience is acceptable)
- Mongo experience (any level of experience is acceptable)
- Postgres experience (any level of experience is acceptable)
- Appian Experience (Minimum of 2 years of experience designing, developing or supporting Appian or Appian-based applications)
- Skilled in communications with customers on issues
Desired
- Cloud experience
- Ability to capture user issues and feedback
- Ability to create sustainable processes
- FIDBOS-X experience
Some of your day-to-day activities include but not limited to:
- As a Software Engineer on the Program, you'll be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and defining requirements to determine the most effective software and web technologies to satisfy client needs.
- You'll develop, maintain, support, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements, providing specific input to system design, and adhering to formal design processes and guidelines.
- You'll design and develop user-friendly interfaces, maintain technical documentation, and ensure quality control of software.
- You will select development processes, recommend new technologies, and troubleshoot complex software problems.
- You'll also integrate new products with existing applications to improve system functionality and design.
Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
