Our client is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis, supporting a U.S. Government customer. In this role, you’ll provide crucial technical expertise to support and sustain critical mission-focused software and systems on a large government contract. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on continuous integration and testing projects within a collaborative, goal-driven team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with small teams to design and develop software that meets unique requirements across various operating systems.
- Focus on continuous integration and testing to ensure high-quality software solutions.
- Utilize diverse programming skills to create secure, reliable applications tailored to government needs.
Must Have's:
- Security Clearance: Active or reinstatable TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years of Software Engineering experience, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Teamwork and Communication: Capable of working independently or as part of a team, with strong communication skills.
Nice to Have's:
- Proficiency in C or C++ and Python programming languages.
- Experience developing software on Windows, UNIX, or Mobile platforms.
- Leadership experience, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo) for streamlined software development and deployment.
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
Salary Range: $50,000 - $120,000
