Job Description
Designs digital products using advanced tools, technologies, frameworks, and systems. Applies systematic application of scientific and technological knowledge, methods, and experience to the design, implementation, testing, and documentation of software. Responsible for running applications in production and achieving KPIs. Participates in inceptions and iteration planning meetings, infusing backlogs with technical input collaborating with the Product Manager. Leads and participates in daily site, cross-site, and product team standups. Leads and participates in retrospectives, encouraging each participant to provide feedback with empathy. Partners in collaboration and strategy alignment across product portfolios (cross-product) in partnership with Product Managers, other peers, and key stakeholders. Serves as an expert on one or more business domains and as a distinguished advocate of multiple technology stacks, sharing knowledge across organizations. Coaches the team and leads daily practice of using paired programming and test-driven development in writing software and building products. Establishes continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practices. Provides support for software products in user environments.
Job Requirements
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent), plus three (3) years of experience architecting, designing, implementing, and delivering large scale distributed systems and/or applications for the Cloud or, alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent), plus five (5) years of experience architecting, designing, implementing, and delivering large scale distributed systems and/or applications for the Cloud.
Job Qualifications
Specific skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Demonstrated expertise (DE) developing software in different programming languages, including, Java (Spring), .NET and JavaScript; DE developing REST APIs, including tooling for documentation (swagger, versioning, testing and management.); DE using distributed version control systems (git), artifact management systems, build and packaging systems and continuous integration tools (Jenkins); and DE in Test Driven Development, including knowledge and experience in testing frameworks like junit, mockito, nunit and other like technologies
