Summary:
This role is foundational in creating the look and feel of how customers interact with Barn Owl hardware and software. We are seeking a proven developer with demonstrable experience in UI design and front-end development for cloud applications (AWS).
Responsibilities:
Work with our team to strategize, design, and develop great software products for Barn Owl customers.
Drive implementation of UI across web and mobile platforms.
Lead whole projects from design to implementation.
Work cross-functionally to continuously deliver Barn Owl’s products to customers on-time.
Optimize application functionality to balance performance, cost, and development time.

Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in developing and launching products.
- Experience building reusable components, utilizing CSS pre-processors, and building pixel-perfect user interfaces.
- Comfortable working in an agile team software development environment.
- Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, including contexts, prototypes/classes, and closures.
- Experience working with a modern web framework such as Angular.js, React, or Vue.
- Experience building on cloud infrastructure (AWS).
- Familiarity with REST APIs.
- Familiarity with cross-platform front-end development (Ionic, React Native, Flutter).
- Ability to read server code (Golang, Python, Node.js) a big plus!

Benefits
• Annual Salary Range: $60,000 to $80,000
