As a Network Administrator for our FAA FENS Test & Evaluations Lab in Atlantic City, NJ, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and testing multiple complex virtualized applications supporting the lab testbed. You will work alongside the Sr. Systems Administrator and other lab engineers to plan and support testing activities to meet the scope and timeline identified by customer requirements and program management. Other responsibilities include:
- Working alongside the Sr. Systems Administrator to develop processes and plans for testing servers and virtualized applications.
- Conducting system design activities involving servers, network devices, virtualized operating systems, and applications.
- Install servers and applications within the lab testbed to support critical safety functionality and security framework.
- Closely monitoring system and server performance.
- Keeping up to date with new application features and enhancements; working with test engineers to plan and test new systems and functions within the lab environment.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for a Position of Public Trust. Must be a US citizen or three-year permanent resident.
Candidate will be expected to report to the William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) in Pomona, NJ.
