PCMI (Policy Claim Management International) is a fast-growing, leading provider of integrated software for Extended Warranty Management and Finance and Insurance (F&I) administration. We are a SaaS company that operates in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. Our 3 teams located in the US, Poland, and Thailand work collaboratively around the clock to build our PCRS platform that automates the full administration lifecycle of all extended warranties, F&I products, and service contracts for our customers.
What You’ll Do
The Sr Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native applications and APIs using modern technologies. You will work closely with business and technology teams to define implementation plans, provide technical guidance, and ensure alignment with architectural standards. This role requires a strong command of Azure cloud services and modern development practices.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define and implement solutions.
- Draft detailed technical documentation and ensure requirements are well understood.
- Work closely with architects to adhere to application architecture and standards.
- Design and develop event-driven applications leveraging Azure-native messaging technologies.
- Build and maintain scalable and secure APIs using .NET Core.
- Implement modern authentication and authorization practices to secure APIs.
- Develop and support front-end applications using Angular or React.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases hosted in Azure cloud environments.
- Participate in agile development practices, contributing to fast-paced delivery teams.
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and best practices to drive innovation.
What You’ll Need to Join Our Team
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience developing .NET Core APIs.
- Hands-on experience with modern front-end technologies such as Angular or React.
- Proficiency with Azure cloud services.
- Strong understanding of relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) database technologies in Azure.
- Expertise in securing APIs using OAuth, OpenID Connect, or other modern frameworks.
- Experience working on cloud-native and event-driven applications.
- Solid foundation in agile methodologies and collaboration tools like Azure DevOps.
