About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with our development and operations teams to enhance our CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure, and automate various processes to ensure seamless deployments and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

Participation in the design, building, testing, and automation of the production and development infrastructure
Ensuring continuous availability of various services and tools
Writing specifications and documentation
CI/CD management and automation
Maintenance of pipelines to build, test, release, and deploy at any moment and in any circumstances
Working with automation services and platforms
Scripting and coding
Helping develop strategies to improve the availability and use of web application servers
Infrastructure management
Monitoring

Qualifications:

3+ years experience with Kubernetes and other container management solutions
Excellent understanding of microservices architecture
At least 2 years of operational experience with public clouds (AWS, GCP, or other), including migrations and scaling operations
In-depth knowledge of AWS services including ALB, VPC, IAM, EC2, EKS, CloudWatch, S3, RDS, and Route53. Experience with similar services for GCP is a plus
Experience with load balancers and ingress controllers such as Nginx, HAProxy, ALB, and NLB
Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform is a must. Experience with CloudFormation and/or Ansible will be a plus
3+ years of Linux/UNIX administration experience
In-depth understanding of Linux/UNIX fundamentals including kernel subsystems, system calls, inter-process communication, process/resource management, and file systems
Configuration management with deployment automation tools
Experience with at least two or three monitoring services: DataDog, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, OpsGenie, or similar
Demonstrated problem analysis and resolution skills
Must be proficient in at least one scripting language
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory. Knowledge of Russian will be a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
AWS Cloud Architect and/or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certifications are a plus
