DTN is a global leader providing insights and analytics to our customers who feed, protect, and fuel the world. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Norman, Oklahoma!
Your day to day:
- Establish continuous integration (CI) pipeline to fully automate deployment of the highly available, mission critical cloud platform that supports DTN’s products.
- Create scripts and templates to build cloud-based development systems for our software engineers.
- Build tools for deployment, monitoring and operations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test and production environments.
- Work with developers on software and system optimizations, helping to identify and remove potential performance bottlenecks.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant technologies, plug into user groups, understand trends and opportunities to ensure we are using the best possible techniques and tools.
- Design, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes.
What you bring to the team:
- Developed solutions using cloud services & open source tools
- Deliver infrastructure as code
- Used cloud orchestration tools
- Provided continuous monitoring & support
- Automated functional and performance tests
- Delivered solutions using agile methodology
- Managed large scale applications in AWS
- Developed and managed container-based platforms
Your experience includes:
- At least a BS in a relevant discipline or equivalent career experience.
- 2+ years developing, deploying and maintaining high volume cloud-based solutions
- AWS Certifications are a plus
- High level of expertise in implementing "Infrastructure as Code"
- Experience with managing solutions within the AWS ecosystem
- Familiarity with Atlassian tool set (Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence)
- High level of comfort with Linux operating systems.
