Role overview
Are you ready to take on a career-defining role? As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of designing, building, and maintaining cutting-edge cloud infrastructures. This role goes beyond traditional engineering—it’s about empowering enterprises with secure, scalable, and state-of-the-art OpenStack-based solutions that safeguard their data sovereignty.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll play a critical role in streamlining operations through automation, ensuring seamless cloud performance, and driving continuous innovation.
What you'll do
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructures using OpenStack.
- Develop automation scripts and tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) for infrastructure provisioning and scaling.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enhance the deployment process.
- Ensure top-notch cloud security practices, including data encryption and access controls.
- Diagnose and resolve performance, availability, and security issues across infrastructure systems.
- Document system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and technical processes for knowledge sharing.
- Stay ahead of the curve by integrating the latest DevOps and cloud computing advancements.
- Be part of an on-call rotation to address critical incidents and emergencies.
What we’re looking for
Technical skills:
- Extensive experience with OpenStack environments focused on scalability and security.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ruby, or Go.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or MAAS.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls).
Soft skills:
- Exceptional communication skills for collaborating across diverse teams.
- A problem-solver who thrives in high-pressure situations.
- A proactive learner ready to adapt to emerging technologies.
Relevant experience:
- 5+ years in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles, with a strong focus on OpenStack.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
