Due to the work you’ll perform and interactions with DoD programs you will need to be a US citizen with an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Senior Cloud Engineer Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field with 7 – 9 years' of relevant experience, 5-7 years of relevant experience with Master’s
Experience with the Risk Management Framework
Experience with Vulnerability Management and scanning tools such as ACAS
Experience with Security Control Testing (NIST 800-53/CNSSI 1253)
Event Management / Auditing (Splunk, ELK, EFK)
Malware Protection (Antivirus, HBSS, etc)
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), and the provisioning of various services and infrastructure
Ability to apply Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) to a variety of technologies to include Windows, Linux, etc.
Comfortable scripting and automating (Python, YAML, JSON, etc)

Preferences:

Experience with Account Management (Active Directory, etc)
Experience configuring Splunk / ELK / EFK / NiFi
Experience with CloudFormation templates
Experience with DevOps technologies including Terraform
Familiar with containers, container security (NIST 800-190), and Zero Trust Architecture
