Description
Experience in SRE, DevOps or Production Operations role
Hands on experience scripting with Perl, Python or Ruby
Experience working with Linux and Windows
Experience configuring continuous integration tools, like Jenkins or Bamboo
Experience with version control systems, like GIT or Subversion
Familiarity with: NoSQL, MySQL, Oracle, Cassandra, Hadoop.
Knowledge in Object-Oriented Design Principles, Data Structures, Algorithms, DBMS/SQL, Operating Systems, and Software Engineering
Working knowledge of web technologies (such as HTTP, HTML/DOM, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX) is beneficial.
Knowledge of best practices related to security, performance, and disaster recovery
Strong general technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Experience with high volume web environments handling millions of users and millions of transactions per day
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Understanding of SDLC, Release Engineering, Performance Engineering and Site Operations.
