Job Title: Shared Data Platforms Solution Architect

Job Description:
Join a dynamic Shared Data Platform IT group as a Solution Architect! As a key player, you'll maintain the architecture for data-centric applications and systems, collaborating with Business and IT Stakeholders to design solution architectures that align with the business and technology strategies. Your focus will be on systems handling data for products, catalogs, suppliers, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning:
- Lead strategic, technical, and operational initiatives supporting business and technology transformation.
- Stay updated on Oracle features and recommend new features for cost efficiency and system flexibility.
- Contribute to technology strategy and planning; lead research on emerging technologies.
- Communicate solution architectures to senior management, business, architecture, and development teams.
- Mentor system development teams on implementing reference architectures and standards.
- Collaborate with the Application Security team to support security requirements.
Acquisition & Deployment:
- Utilize strong knowledge of Product Information Management and Product Data Hub cloud or Supplier Hub.
- Provide technical oversight for multiple projects, lead technology lifecycle projects, and evaluate alternative architectures.
- Develop system design prototypes with Technical Architects and Delivery Teams.
Operational Management:
- Assist in creating enterprise-wide technology standards and document architectural designs.
- Create and maintain reference architectures, systems models, use case scenarios, workflow diagrams, and data models.
- Validate architecture compliance with requirements and verify system compliance.
- Mentor team members and assist with large-scale projects for efficiency and success.
Incidental Functions:
- Conduct research on new technologies and make presentations to management, clients, and peers.
- Participate in project and communication meetings and hiring activities, ensuring compliance with equal employment opportunities.
Qualifications:
Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Knowledge & Experience:
- 10+ years of IT experience, including 8+ years in ERP application implementation and support.
- 5+ years in conceptualization, design, and implementation of systems, middleware, Master Data Management, Metadata, Data Quality, and Data Warehouse Architectures.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud and Product Data Hub or Supplier Data Hub.
- Broad technical knowledge and experience with multiple technology domains.
- Proven expertise in optimizing Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC).
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholder environments and resolving priority conflicts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle Integration Cloud orchestrations/interfaces development.
- Oracle certification on cloud technologies.
- Experience in Agile development environments.
