Title: Senior AWS Developer
Location: Remote
Contract Duration: Six Months (with possibility of extension)
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Developer with expertise in AWS cloud technologies and QuickSight. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-based solutions and a deep understanding of advanced technologies, platforms, and applications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, modify, debug, deploy, and evaluate AWS QuickSight reports for financial applications.
- Develop solutions using various AWS services, including Lambda, Athena, Glue, S3, API Gateway, RDS, and CloudFront.
- Create cost-effective, reusable, efficient, and scalable programs adhering to an Infrastructure as Code paradigm.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure data reconciliation between AWS Financial Datawarehouse reports and Oracle FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service) reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of IT experience with expertise in AWS QuickSight for analysis and report creation.
- Proficient in Python.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services: VPC, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Athena, DynamoDB, Glue, QuickSight, CodePipeline, and ECS/Fargate.
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, CDK (Cloud Development Kit), and Terraform.
- Skilled in architecting serverless solutions using AWS cloud services.
- Strong experience in SQL and DDL for RDBMS (SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres).
- Knowledge of Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Node.js is a plus.
- Familiarity with source code management and application deployment tools such as Git, Maven, Shell scripts, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in business terms.
- Capable of working independently on complex technical projects and collaborating with a team of professionals.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines effectively.
