DescriptionCloud Solution Engineer is someone focused on the pre-sales phase to accelerate the sales cycle, detailing customer needs, already identified by sales team. They create a project architecture that meets these needs and coordinate internal resources as well as external resources (partners) to technically approve the proposed solution. Additionally, they engage in volume-related activities (campaigns, materials, webinars, office hours, workshops, bootcamps, and bundles) to scale a high-volume business. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure knowledge is crucial, licensing and hardware skills are desirable. Portuguese native spoken and English fluency is mandatory. Spanish is not required even being a good differential.
As a Senior Cloud Solution Engineer on App Development, Modernization and Emerging Technologies team at Oracle, you will drive customer success by acting as a trusted advisor. You will collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable Oracle cloud solutions. You will partner with customers, sales, engineering and product teams to design and demonstrate Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems and drive Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of Oracle cloud services. You will stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and provide technical guidance during the sales cycle, including POCs and pilot projects. This is a hybrid job position, based on São Paulo, Brazil.

ResponsibilitiesResponsible for participating in customer engagements to collaboratively design solutions. Will work directly with customers to gather requirements, develop architectures and translates business needs into solutions. Displays product/application understanding through more customized presentation demonstrations to customers and at webinars and events. Supports Proof of Concept (POC) through deployment of services. Support customer and partner education and development. Creates and distributes technical assets (white papers, blog posts, webinars and video demonstrations). Serves as a technical point of contact for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions. Further builds business and technical acumen.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience with public cloud platforms
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect/Engineer/Developer or in a customer-facing role
- Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking
- Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Relevant cloud certifications are a plus
- Familiarity with open source, cloud native
- Programming Skill: Java, Python, Node JS and so on
- OCI IaaS, PaaS Knowledge
- Observability and Security knowledge are standards to us.
- Knowledge other cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a differential
- Good understanding of Oracle Database as a Service. MySQL and MS SQL Server are a plus.
- Knowledge on Automation, IaC and DevOps;
- Licensing (Oracle Middleware) and hardware (architecting and quoting) experience is a differential
- Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
- Portugues (native), English (fluent) is needed. Spanish is a plus.
