Overview:
The Oracle Cloud HCM Technical Consultant plays a crucial role in providing technical expertise for the implementation and integration of Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud solutions. This role is integral in leveraging technology to streamline HR processes, improve data management, and enhance the overall employee experience. The consultant collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions that align with business objectives and drive organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in the design, development, and deployment of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions
- Manage technical aspects of HCM Cloud implementation projects, including configuration, customization, and integration
- Provide expertise in HCM data migration, interfaces, and reports development
- Offer technical guidance and support to clients and project teams
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring system stability and performance
- Stay updated with Oracle Cloud HCM releases, new features, and best practices
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- Document technical designs, configurations, and processes
- Participate in pre-sales activities, providing technical expertise and support
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Oracle Cloud HCM certification is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Oracle Cloud HCM technical consulting
- Proficiency in Oracle HCM Data Loader, HCM Extracts, REST APIs, and BI Publisher
- Strong understanding of HCM data structures, security, and personalization
- Experience in Oracle Cloud integrations using OIC, SOA, or other middleware
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex HCM technical issues
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Proven track record in delivering high-quality technical solutions within project timelines
- Capability to work effectively in a team environment and mentor junior consultants
- Knowledge of HCM Cloud payroll processing and related technical configurations
- Understanding of Oracle Cloud Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, and Talent Management modules
- Experience in data migration and conversion from legacy systems to Oracle HCM Cloud
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
