Job Overview
Senior Cloud Admin (GCP & Azure) role with 7 to 10 years of experience. Employment type: Remote, Full-Time. Job location: Pune, Maharashtra, India. Salary range: Competitive. ATES Consulting Private Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Admin proficient in GCP and Azure to join our dynamic team.
Role – Cloud Admin
Location – Pune (Long Term Remote)
Mode – Work from Home
Major Responsibilities
- Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Azure and GCP and understanding of terminologies involved in Cloud implementation.
- Propose technical feasibility solutions for new functional designs and suggest options for performance improvement of technical objects.
- Good knowledge of Windows and Linux OS
- Proficient in Windows Active Directory
- Proficient in GCP services like Compute Engine, VPC network, Cloud VPN, IAM, Cloud SQL
- Proficient in Azure services like Virtual Machine, Virtual network, PAM, Azure SQL
- Experience in writing CLI queries and scheduled tasks
- Installation & Configuration of various open-source tools
- Configuration of SFTP and FTPS account as per client’s requirement
- Implementation of security standards for audit
- Monitoring of the server using PRTG
- Scripting using Shell, Python etc.. will be an added advantage
- Fostering collaboration and building relationships with project/development teams within the business
Technical/Domain Skills :
- Excellent knowledge of cloud technology, OS administration and support like
- GCP, Azure, Windows Server 2012 R2 and 2016, Centos, Ubuntu etc.
- Hands on experience in GCP and Azure infrastructure management
- Proficient in Linux/Unix system administration skills
- Experienced with Linux system monitoring and analysis
- Should have good understanding of Networking concepts and protocols(VPC,FIREWALL, DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTPS, etc.)
- Basic coding/scripting ability using the shell
- Preferred exposure to security concepts / best practices
- Preferred expertise with IPsec, VPN, Load Balancing, Routing
- Protocols, SSH, Network Monitoring / Troubleshooting too
