ABOUT THE TEAM
The Product Owner, plays a key role in the Cloud Technologies platform agile team to maximize the value delivered by the Technology, Data and Operations’ (TDO) group. The Cloud Technologies platform is responsible for all technological infrastructures deployed and used at the company (servers, storage, network, all cloud computing platforms, etc.).
In a nutshell, the incumbent is responsible for establishing product roadmaps jointly with all stakeholders, prioritizing work based on value and budget, lead agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, demos, Prioritization meetings). On a daily basis, he or she will effectively collaborate and solve problems with the delivery teams to continuously deliver business value and capture untapped opportunities.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As a Product Owner, Cloud Technologies, you’ll:
Act as the main point of contact and identify customer needs with internal stakeholders
Ensure the establishment, maintenance, and communication of the roadmap for the products and services under your responsibility in collaboration with stakeholders
Collaborate with architects to establish the roadmaps and technological vision
Stay up to date with technological trends and best practices to recommend technological solutions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of supported processes
Document business cases and key milestones, including expected benefits
Plan, track and manage the allocated budget
Manage, structure, and prioritize the product and service backlog in collaboration with the business and the team
Articulate business needs and their value to delivery teams during agile sessions, while maintaining a focus on the highest value increments aligned with the product strategy
Manage customer delivery expectations and take action to meet delivery deadlines in collaboration with other agile TDO teams
Remove delivery obstacles under your control or escalate issues to managers to ensure delivery deadlines are met
Responsible and contributor to business analysis and solution implementation
Participate in incident resolution
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in fields related to technological infrastructure (Windows Server environment, networks and telecommunications, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an agile environment
Excellent organizational skills and practical experience in managing product lifecycle stages (e.g., PLC)
Product owner certification, an asset (e.g., PSPO, etc.)
Experience with ITSM/ITIL practices
Good active listening skills and communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
Team spirit and ability to collaborate while maintaining a positive attitude
Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
