Your area of work:
Big Data & Advanced Analytics provides infrastructure and services to enable the development of data science, analytics, and big data solutions by the businesses across the value chain served by Deutsche Börse Group. We standardize and automate processes with modern technologies and frameworks.
As part of our cloud migration and digital transformation journey, we are looking for a passionate Cloud Engineer who brings fresh and innovative ideas, is eager to grow and learn and enjoys designing and building data platforms in cloud.
In this role you will join a growing and diverse big data experts to cover topics ranging from cloud service deployment, Terraform module creation, platform design and configuration to addressing security related topics and evaluating new cloud services.
Your responsibilities:
- Design and deploy cloud infrastructure with strong focus on security.
- Contribute and in future own Terraform modules for data platform provisioning (primarily Databricks).
- Collaborate with infrastructure engineers to design, deploy and optimize CI/CD and automation pipelines leveraging GitHub Actions.
- Write and maintain technical documentation and perform tasks in Agile methodology.
- Promote data collaboration, orchestration, quality, security, access, and ease of use.
Your profile:
- At least 2 years of experience on similar position.
- Experience with Azure and/or GCP.
- Strong expertise in Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Team player willing to cooperate with colleagues across office locations and functions.
- Strong English language skills are a must.
- Willingness to participate in on-call duty as per operation requirement after probation period.
