The TrueContext engineering team is growing and looking for a new member to join our Infrastructure team. The Infrastructure team builds and manages the foundation of the TrueContext Cloud architecture. We are responsible for moving all of our Cloud infrastructure forward in an automated way and ensuring that the rest of the Engineering team is moving as quickly and safely as possible. Our team works closely with the needs of our SOC2 Compliant system as well as understanding the pain points of our Engineering colleagues.
We are a flexible group that loves to make use of the latest battle-tested technologies, learn from failed experiments, and improve together as a group. We’re very excited to add another software engineer to our team!
About the Team
The Platform team builds and operates the foundational layer of TrueContext’s product offering, which is hosted on AWS (Amazon Web Services) based cloud infrastructure. As part of this team, you will be solving challenges that impact TrueContext product development, security and reliability.
In this role you will
- Build new systems and solutions using a range of AWS services to improve our service offering and enable other product development teams
- Champion best practices like Infrastructure-as-code and Immutable infrastructure
- Design and operate the foundation of highly available enterprise services
- Solve security challenges to help us in maintain our SOC 2 compliance posture
- Contribute to our team responsible for Cloud, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering
About you
As an ideal candidate, you are:
- Curious about operational aspects of software development
- Passionate about learning how to build and operate highly available cloud-based solutions
- You are comfortable working in a Linux server environment
- You love automation. You love to solve everyday problems using scripting languages like Bash, python or PowerShell
- You are familiar with software development concepts like Agile development and version control (Git)
