Context of the mission
As Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for refining our cloud adoption strategy and driving its implementation.
In collaboration with the Enterprise and IT architects, you will lead our cloud enterprise architecture function.
As such, you will work closely with architectural, technical and business teams to understand their expectations and consequently drive the evolution of our current infrastructure to achieve organizational goals. In addition, through them and with their help, you will steer cultural change to support the organization's cloud adoption.

Tasks and responsibilities
As “Cloud Architect”, you
- Implement and review our cloud adoption strategy and roadmap, and offer guidance and expertise for the deployment of capabilities and technologies essential to cloud adoption and support of cloud-based solutions (e.g., Identity and Access Management; Zero Trust).
- Ensure that the organization uses cloud computing (including cloud services) effectively and efficiently to achieve its business goals.
- Manage organizational risks and promote the use of good practices through proper governance, by developing and documenting relevant policies and guidelines.
- Lead the “cloud enterprise architecture” function, aligning with the enterprise architecture practice and collaborating closely with enterprise, IT and IT domains architects.
- Contribute to a cross-functional cloud computing body, collaborating with business and support (Legal, Procurement, Finance, HR, IT) teams.
- Represent the “cloud enterprise architecture” function to senior leadership.
- Design and develop solution patterns architectures that meet our technical and business requirements for cloud-based solutions.
- Provide guidance and support to technical teams during the implementation of cloud solutions.
- Address security risks and ensure that our cloud infrastructure is secure.
- Work with technical teams to resolve issues and ensure that our cloud infrastructure is highly available and reliable.
- Stay up-to-date with cloud-related technologies and recommend improvements to our infrastructure.
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of cloud-based foundational technologies and architectures.
- Knowledge in cloud security.
- Good knowledge of market offering, hyperscalers and main cloud service providers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in English and French both written and spoken are mandatory
