Objective:
Sundyne is seeking a Cloud Administrator/Architect to administer and architect our Azure and Oracle Cloud environments. This position will be based out of our Pune, India office. Primary responsibility will be to ensure a stable Azure and Oracle environment while researching, architecting and implementing new services or products in the Cloud. Understand Sundyne global business requirements, identify cost reduction or other optimization opportunities. Research and strengthen cloud security controls. Furthermore, collaborate with Managed Service Provider and other Sundyne resources to accomplish responsibility.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Azure / Oracle Cloud Administration:
- General troubleshooting of cloud resources and the ability to participate or lead in major incident management team.
- Overseeing Cloud Services, Resources and Costs of Oracle Cloud Services (OCI) and Microsoft Azure
- Maintain Networking and Site-to-Site VPN connections with on-prem and cloud resources
- Maintain system and services Backups and Disaster Recovery solutions
- Evaluate and implement opportunities to improve operations, system performance and cost optimization. Including but not limited to instance reservations and right sizing.
- At a high level keeping up to date and being able to research new opportunities for corporate projects and current toolsets.
- Evaluate, identify, and implement configuration changes and system updates to address vulnerabilities, and improve security posture.
- Support Web Application and Containerized Services
- Support off-site Backup and Disaster recover solutions, including Commvault and Azure File Sync
- Perform regular audits and checklists as assigned
- Maintain RBAC and IAM of Azure and Entra ID
- Monitor and assess resource availability and performance
- Review and assess the opportunity and feasibility of leveraging additional cloud resources to save cost, realize operational efficiency, or to improve disaster recovery.
- Plan and execute on cloud reservations and resource rightsizing
- Collaborate in performing cloud cyber risk assessments, review identified vulnerabilities and remediate identified risks in the environment.
- Continually improve upon cloud security posture of systems and applications.
- Manage cloud VPN, Express Routes or other connectivity with Sundyne sites.
2. Change/Problem/Incident Management:
- Attend Weekly Change Management Meetings to provide input, feedback or to challenge changes being made impacting Cloud site(s) or services.
- Attend Major Incident Response Bridge Calls to provide input, feedback and expertise for major incidents impacting the Cloud site(s) or services.
- Attend Problem Management Meetings to provide input and insight of remediation to help with Root-Cause Analysis of problems pertaining to Cloud site(s) and services.
3. Project Management:
- Manage projects and initiatives using Project Management Institute Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) best practices.
- Document minutes, issues, risks, roadblocks, test cases, test results.
- Communicate and coordinate with resources and stakeholders.
4. Administrative/Other:
- Managing, tracking and documenting Cloud assets and services
- Document Knowledgebase (KB) Articles and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) pertaining to all Cloud functions or activities
- Other duties assigned by IT Leadership

Education & Experience:
• Completed bachelor’s degree in IT-Related field
