Position Title : TM Cloud & Apps DBA
Location :: Mumbai/Bangalore/Renukoot
Qualifications for oracle apps DBA
•Bachelor’s degree in computer Sc. / Information Technology preferable or Graduate and 3-5 years of experience on Oracle EBS application R12 & Oracle database Administration, Management & operations support on Unix/Linux platform and experience with Cloud Infrastructure.
Cloud & Apps DBA Job profile:
Cloud administration
•Having clear concept and experience of provisioning and managing IaaS, PaaS & DBaaS, etc. in cloud.Preferable Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
•Knowledge of different cloud service like Compute, Storage, network, Identity, security etc.
•Experience of provisioning and management of compute, storage, network, security and other IaaS & PaaS resource on subscribed Public Cloud (OCI & Azure) based on requirement.
•Knowledge of Monitoring event and notifications of Cloud resource and taking appropriate actions in coordination with application team & Principal service provider.
•Implementation of required policy on cloud to secure the cloud environment & its resources.
•Periodic review of security policy applied on Cloud resources & reporting.
•Configuring Backup policy on Cloud resource, monitoring & reporting of backup status.
•Recovery of cloud resource from backup in case of any contingency.
•Scale up/Scale down of compute resource as per review recommendation/on need basis.
•Review of Cloud Guard security findings and implementation of recommended action on affected resource.
•Cloud resource cost analysis, optimization& reporting.
Apps DBA
•Good understanding of EBS R12.2 application architecture (including adop concepts, dual file system architecture, FMW concepts, PCP, concurrent managers, workflow, layout of application on infrastructure)
•Experience with R12 Sysadmin activities like responsibility, forms, function, menu, user setup, diagnostic, workflow, Alerts.
•Installation, Patching, Cloning ofSingle node & Multi Node Oracle EBS Instances in Normal and Shared Appl top Architecture and experience of AD utilities.
•Monitor, troubleshoot & resolve Application and Database performance issues, Concurrent Manager Problems etc.
•Hands-on administration, installation, upgrades, patching, performance tuning & troubleshooting experience on 11gR2 , 12c & 19c databases RAC and non-RAC environment & ASM.
•Backup and recovery with RMAN skills, setup & monitoring of Oracle Replication using Data guard.
•Experience with UNIX/Shell/Perl scripting
•Knowledge of VM and Linux Operating system Administration, storage & networking.
•Knowledge of handling other databases like MSSql, MySQL, Postgre will be an advantage.
•Experience of working on Oracle Exadata and multinode environment will be given priority.
