As a Cloud Solution Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient cloud environments on Microsoft Azure. Your expertise will help organizations implement cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on Azure Landing Zones to ensure governance, security, and scalability.
Responsibilities:

Design, implement and maintain Azure Landing Zones: Architect and deploy Azure Landing Zones to establish scalable, secure, and compliant cloud environments that meet enterprise governance and operational requirements.

Cloud architecture design and workshops: Lead and facilitate design workshops with key stakeholders to understand requirements and develop detailed Azure cloud architecture solutions. Guide stakeholders through best practices for cloud adoption.

Create, review, and approve cloud solutions: Design comprehensive cloud architectures and collaborate with engineering and leadership teams to review, finalize, and approve the solutions before implementation.

Implement and manage cloud infrastructure: Set up, configure, and manage cloud environments using Azure services to ensure optimal performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work with developers, security teams, and operations staff to integrate cloud solutions, streamline development workflows, and enhance cloud infrastructure.

Continuous improvement: Continuously monitor and improve cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and scalability.

Automation: Implement automation, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and other best practices to optimize operations.

Ensure governance and security: Ensure that the cloud environment adheres to security and compliance requirements, utilizing Azure’s native security features such as Azure Policy, Defender and Azure Monitor.
You’re good at:

Azure Landing Zones: Expertise in designing and implementing Azure Landing Zones to provide a foundation for scalable and secure Azure environments.

Cloud architecture: Designing robust cloud solutions using Azure services such as Azure Virtual Network (VNet), Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Entra, and security solutions.

Facilitating design workshops: Engaging with stakeholders and teams to run workshops that align business needs with technical solutions and cloud adoption strategies.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with automation tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep for deploying and managing Azure resources efficiently.

CI/CD pipelines and GitOps: Proficient in automating the deployment of cloud resources and applications using Azure DevOps, GitOps, and related CI/CD tools (e.g., ArgoCD).

Security and compliance: Strong focus on security best practices, compliance frameworks, and Azure-native security features to ensure cloud infrastructure remains compliant and protected.

Microservices and containerization: Strong knowledge of containerization and microservices architecture
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience designing and implementing Azure Landing Zones.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services and best practices in cloud architecture, governance, and security.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Ability to lead workshops, create technical designs, and facilitate reviews and approvals across stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring and logging solutions such as Azure Monitor, ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Deep understanding of microservice architecture, containerization, and GitOps practices.
This role will be ideal for a seasoned cloud engineer passionate about designing and implementing scalable and secure Azure environments, with a strong focus on delivering end-to-end cloud solutions. Azure Certifications are a plus.
