Job Description
We’re looking for a Head of Cloud and Integration with hands-on experience in delivering .NET projects and a passion for development to join us and build out your own new development team. As the Head of this team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our software solutions. As well as leading and mentoring the team, this position also requires hands-on design, coding and implementation of the software suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small team of software developers, ensuring high-quality work and continuous skill development.
- Define data architecture, create, design, write, and maintain high-quality code in different programming languages, ensure a good data flow between database and backend systems, and strive to achieve the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Responsible for ensuring that model code, data pipelines, APIs, and user interfaces are developed and deployed successfully into production, and troubleshooting issues that arise.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that the technical solutions meet the customers' goals, analyze user needs, and participate in meetings to define requirements.
- Coordinate activities with other project teams to ensure product integrity.
- Act as the go-to expert for the entire technology stack, demonstrating a deep understanding of all layers of the stack, including front-end, APIs, back-end, server, network and how it relates to business needs.
- Technically document deliverables through use cases, design documents, and technical specifications.
You should have
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or in a similar field,
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in C#, ASP.NET, SQL, GIT, Visual Studio, HTML/CSS
- Experience with WinForms, TypeScript, Angular and JavaScript
- Databases: SQL Server and/or MongoDB
- Strong background in software design, architecture, and development methodologies,
- Collaborative problem-solving ability, action-oriented and results-focused,
- Excellent English language skills,
- Experience in Agile development methods and backlog management tools (e.g., JIRA) is preferred.
