WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Platform Engineering empowers engineers with autonomy and ownership. The Cloud Platform team ensures secure, reliable infrastructure for millions of Trade Republic users, providing access, visibility, and tools to deliver cloud-native software. We manage access control, enable seamless communication, and offer observability tools to enhance security, performance, and software quality.
- Lead reliability and observability efforts, driving system ownership and automation to ensure scalability, stability, and availability.
- Enhance monitoring and alerting to deliver reliable services and full observability for mission-critical systems.
- Design and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform and promote best practices for CI/CD pipelines.
- Empower colleagues through feedback, knowledge sharing, and guidance to foster continuous improvement.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in software engineering, including cloud, infrastructure, distributed systems, and networking.
- Proven track record leading infrastructure or software projects and managing business-critical cloud systems.
- Strong programming skills, with flexibility across languages like Kotlin, Java, or Python, and a focus on engineering excellence over specific tools.
- Exceptional ownership, communication, and the ability to drive technical solutions while empowering colleagues and engaging diverse stakeholders.
