we are seeking to hire a self-driven & proactive thinking Senior Cloud
Engineer with a proven expertise in projects
management. The successful candidate will
have expertise in the strategy development, design, and implementation
of large-scale projects in the cloud, management platform of mainstream cloud vendors, cloud network,
cloud security integration, and cloud disaster recovery integration.
The Role
Responsibilities will include:
· Planning the delivery of components such as RAID, BIOS, NIC, disk,
and PCIe interface.
·Configuration planning, design, and commissioning of Layer 2 and
Layer 3 switches, firewalls, and routers, such as VRFs, VFWs, ACLs, and routing
tables.
·Planning, design, implementation, and delivery of any domain, such
as OpenStack and KVM virtualization.
·Planning, design, implementation of cloud management platform of
mainstream cloud vendors, cloud network, cloud security integration, and cloud
disaster recovery integration.
·Cloud support, migration to the cloud, and performance optimization
capabilities.
·Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document
problems, and implement preventive measure
·Work jointly with the engineering team to identify and implement
the optimal cloud-based solutions.
·Define and document best practices and strategies regarding
application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
·Ensure application performance, uptime and scale maintaining high
standards for code quality and thoughtful design.
·Provide guidance through leadership, and mentorship to developer
team to build their cloud competence
·Manage cloud environments in accordance with company security
guidelines.
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate must have:
·Minimum two-year experience in hybrid cloud and public cloud
delivery, O&M of mainstream cloud vendors such as ·HUAWEI CLOUD and AWS is
preferable.
·Proficiency in Huawei service delivery processes such as LTC and
SD.
·HCIP-Cloud-computing/Cloud-Service is a must.
·ACE/ACP, TCP, and PMP certifications are a plus.
·Work experience in using cloud services from mainstream vendors.
·Good command of diversified cloud services, such as computing,
network, storage, security, big data, database, and middleware.
·Good command of the basic principles and deployment solutions of IP
SAN, FC SAN, and distributed storage.
·Excellent working knowledge of basic concepts and application
scenarios of file, object, and block storage.
·Sound
working knowledge of common Linux operating system configuration commands.
·Exceptional problem-solving abilities with an ability to
predict and solve problems.
