We are looking for skilled GCP Cloud Engineers to join our diverse and globally distributed team. Collaborating with Google and third-party partners, you will work on various projects that involve developing automation, streamlining operational procedures, and building cloud infrastructure using the latest public cloud services.
This role offers flexibility, both formal and informal, to support a balanced work environment while achieving optimal outcomes for our clients and team. We are committed to your growth, offering 40 hours of dedicated training annually through various learning platforms and fostering innovation through experimentation and knowledge-sharing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using native GCP tools for backup, patching, monitoring, and security compliance.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to enhance cloud services and maintain the cloud services platform to meet business requirements.
Monitoring & Incident Management:
Monitor multiple cloud solutions, address service health issues, and respond to incidents within SLA timelines.
Agile Collaboration:
Work within an Agile team, utilizing Kanban methodologies to manage workflows and track tasks effectively.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Build and deploy infrastructure using IaC best practices and solution designs, adhering to industry standards.
CI/CD Pipelines:
Utilize CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps to create pipelines for building and releasing infrastructure.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed documentation, including standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles.
On-Call Support:
Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to ensure the availability and reliability of cloud services.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven expertise in designing, deploying, and managing cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Strong understanding of IaC tools and best practices for deploying scalable and secure infrastructure.
- Experience in monitoring and maintaining cloud solutions, with a proactive approach to incident resolution.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools for task management and collaboration.
