As a member of the IT Services department, you will be part of the Infrastructure on Demand team supporting technical and business teams with reliable infrastructure cloud services that serve the business needs of the bank.
Responsibilities:
As the Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating closely with IT Services to aid in constructing the cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure, both in terms of architecture and design.
- Heading the process of identifying needs, designing, and implementing solutions in public Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS).
- Establishing cloud or hybrid systems that align with our business objectives.
- Engaging in sessions related to cloud strategy for architecture and design.
- Supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) in ensuring the successful execution of relevant IT transformation projects.
- Pursuing optimization, testing, and security measures to enhance cloud infrastructure performance and robustness.
- Overseeing and approving connectivity between our infrastructure and third-party partners and service providers.
- Verifying that solutions proposed by service providers are in harmony with our infrastructure architecture guidelines and roadmap.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Information Technology Engineering, supplemented by experience with public or hybrid cloud.
- Experience in automating processes through bash/shell scripting.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure/Configuration-as-Code (CAC) concepts, with hands-on experience using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Proven experience in creating and maintaining Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and public cloud environments (such as AWS, Azure).
- Comprehensive knowledge of Azure Infrastructure Services.
- Experience in the architecture, design, and maintenance of M365 and MS Azure VDI.
- Proficiency with AWS/Azure/OpenStack infrastructures, inclusive of logging and auditing, VPC and network structure, IAM-based security models, and a broad range of cloud services.
- Practical experience with container-based designs, configuration, and maintenance on OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Understanding and experience with internet routing protocols and concepts.
- Experience in collaborating with corporate cybersecurity on activities related to infrastructure or application security compliance and remediation (such as risk acceptance and security configuration baseline).
- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues using appropriate diagnostic and monitoring tools.
- Exposure to DevOps tools and environment.
