Title : Cloud Native Evangelist

Role Overview: Cloud Native Evangelist
● Build client transformation programs and partnerships to achieve effective business outcomes through the effective use of Cloud-Native models and platforms
● Use a client transformation mentality to articulate and deliver innovative thinking with regards to cloud transformation considering both technical and resource capabilities.
● Seamlessly interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
● Leverage taught transformation consulting techniques in to maximize client interactions
● Log, track, and maintain activity, effective and accurate pipeline via cloud-based tools.
● Work closely with Client Partners (CP’s) and client teams as well as attending customer meetings as required.
● Attend sales meetings, product training, and local trade shows to keep current with technology.
● Prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the client, the industry, the department or business goals.
Experience and Skills:
● 10-12 years’ experience in the cloud ecosystem, e.g. as a consultant, cloud practitioner, working at a cloud provider or within a corporate Cloud Transformation role; experience with cloud transformation and migration projects is a plus
● Experience with building client transformation programs and partnerships through cloud-native models
● Technical understanding of infra, apps, cloud, data, API’s
● Strong client transformation driven mentality and the ability to “challenge” the norm and create cloud-native concepts
● Experience with cloud transformation projects with a shift to cloud-native being a plus
● Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
● Leverage taught transformation consulting techniques in order to maximize customer interactions
● Log, track, and maintain activity, effective and accurate pipeline via cloud-based tools. (JIRA/TEAMS)
● Work closely with Client Partners (CP’s) and client teams as well as attending customer meetings as required.
● Ability to Integrate and drive cloud provider engagements within our client base
● Ability to make formal and informal presentations to staff and clients both in person and from remote locations via teleconsulting platforms (TEAMS, ZOOM)
● Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy/positive, inclusive and collaborative attitude.
● Proven experience in cloud computing, with a focus on cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, serverless, microservices, etc.).
● Strong public speaking and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
● Experience building or working with large-scale cloud-native applications.
● Deep understanding of modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
● Strong collaboration skills, able to work across engineering, product, and business teams. Experience writing technical blogs, whitepapers, and creating developer-focused content.
● Familiarity with open-source ecosystems, tools, and communities.
● Experience with service mesh technologies, API gateways, and cloud-native security and GenAI.
● Prior experience as a technical evangelist or advocate role within the cloud ecosystem.
● Experience working in a cross-functional, global organization with a high degree of ambiguity and influence.
