Our client is a dynamic and innovative technology company that specializes in providing cutting-edge software solutions to enhance customer service Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) operations. Their technology team is building a new SaaS platform tailored for the customer service BPO industry.

We are seeking a Data Engineer with a robust understanding of Python, data engineering principles and AWS services to join our clients ranks. This role is ideal for someone who excels at building and maintaining scalable data data pipelines with cloud infrastructure, thrives in a collaborative, remote setting, and is a proactive problem-solver. You'll join a small team focused on shipping products and unlocking potential for the business through data exploration and implementing new technologies.

Requirements:

Proven experience in data engineering or cloud software engineering, with a strong emphasis on AWS cloud services.
Expertise in Python, with solid experience in SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
Demonstrable ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and deliver results in a remote, collaborative environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
Experience with ETL, data warehouses and best practices in cloud infrastructure.
Knowledge of project and team coordination tools such as Jira, Slack, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
Nice to have: Experience with LLM, NLP, generative AI.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain scalable, efficient data pipelines and cloud solutions, ensuring reliability and performance.
Utilize AWS services (Redshift, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS) alongside external SQL and NoSQL databases to build robust cloud infrastructure.
Build and train machine learning models on various datasets to enable powerful insights and automations.
Implement data visualization and reporting tools to support business intelligence and decision-making.
Foster a culture of best practices in coding, documentation, and maintainability, coordinating through Jira, Slack, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
Actively participate in problem-solving discussions, contributing innovative solutions and improvements.
Keep abreast of the latest in cloud technology and data engineering practices to drive continuous improvement.
