Job Description:
Are you interested in building state of the art Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions and want to have an impact in a fast-growing start up?
We are seeking a Cloud Architect with expertise in AWS Cloud technologies to join Nuvoola AI’s Delivery team to both service our internal AI Cloud Platform and customer migration needs. You will play a strategic role in maintaining all cloud systems including the front-end platforms, servers, storage, and management networks.
Your Role in Our Team
- Remain current on AWS market demands, certifications as well as the emerging demands.
- Build architectural cloud road map for Nuvoola AI’s cloud solution, also develop and lead application architecture of such.
- When required, consult on customer services engagements for either cloud migration or optimization opportunities. Involvement would cover project inception/planning through architecture, design, and delivery. Would participate in designing migration solutions to take legacy customers to cloud native solutions with zero to minimal business impact and speed.
- Be the main technical associate for development teams, helping in application development and management of the services over the AWS platform.
- Handle the technical queries and provide needful help regarding the cloud services.
- Ensure our Cloud solution (and customer hosted services) are continuously monitored and managed for security, compliance, availability, cost optimization and performance.
- As an architect, focus on Site Reliability Engineering principles to design, drive and develop tools, automation, CI/CD pipeline to SaaS continuous delivery model.
- Participate in evaluating new technologies to solve business challenges in deliver a world class SaaS Service.
- Participate with Development and Operations teams to deliver new services that bring value to customers.
- Conduct root cause analysis with the cross functional teams after service disruptions to look for opportunities to improve, be proactive and prevent future disruptions. Aftermath action will include product improvements, new observability capabilities, service deliver improvements and process improvements.
- Solve new challenges of delivering cloud services to multi-cloud use of AWS, Azure, Google, IBM, and Private Cloud.
- Automate delivery of infrastructure as a service.
- Participating in the infrastructure and operations technical governance process
- Ensuring tenant adherence to process, procedures, and standards
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Minimal requirement is a master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology as the formal education. Those having a master’s degree in any network technologies can also apply.
- At least 5 years of working experience as a cloud architect. Possess perfect knowledge about the way applications are developed on cloud platforms and how services are provided.
- Proven experience with AWS is preferred, those experienced on other platforms such as Azure, GCP and/or IBM can also apply.
- Certification as an AWS Cloud Architect is preferred.
- Has consultative experience.
- Experience with:
- IaaS, SaaS and PaaS solutioning and selection and when to choose between them.
- Developing forward-looking architectures.
- Moving on-prem data center application solutions to the cloud.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security in both on premise and public cloud scenarios
- Strong knowledge and commitment to quality design including design patterns and software engineering best practices.Be proficient on the execution of native Amazon models.
- Thorough understanding of the way client engagement occurs.
- Should have thorough experience of the DevOps tools.
- Ability to:
- Demonstrate cost models and potential savings.
- Work creatively and analytically with others in a problem-solving environment. High degree of initiative
- Communicate problems in terms that are understandable to end users at all levels.
- Present complex ideas and concepts to all levels of management, including nontechnical customers.
