What you'll be doing
Our client is one of the biggest network of independent companies worldwide for over 70 years, all of which are leading providers of asset-servicing solutions to the global alternative investment industry. With $1.8+ trillion in AuA and operations across 36 countries with over 50 office locations. They are looking for a skilled Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Administrator to join the team. You will work closely with with many teams in the IT Department, including System Administrators, Software Development, Network Security and DBA’s to support PaaS/IaaS/SaaS.
How you’ll spend your day
- Implement and manage all Oracle Cloud Infrastructure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services.
- Manage Backup and DR Strategies using Object Storage, Oracle Manages Backups and Autonomous Data Guard.
- Manage Network and user Security groups, IAM and compartments.
- Monitor all services access, availability, performance, and usage.
- Configure, Manage, Audit and Alert on the Security of the OCI environment.
- Implement Best Practices for PaaS services lifecycle.
- Write technical specifications, based on technical design discussions.
You'll be successful if you have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years’ experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Admin in OCI.
- Proficiency in administrating OIC, ATP, DBVM, and Fusion ERP/HCM/EPM services.
- Expertise in configuring Oracle Cloud Backups, Object Storage, and Monitoring Tools.
- Experience in provisioning Oracle ATP ADW Autonomous Data Guard.
- Skilled in monitoring OCI Services, Auto Scaling, and Universal Credits usage.
- Proficiency in managing OCI Compartments and services across Fault/Availability Domains.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform scripts for OCI deployments and infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of Dev, Test, UAT, and Prod lifecycle best practices.
- Experience with Network Security Groups, Bastion Hosts, and Public Load Balancers.
- Proficiency in scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
- Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with high work quality standards.
- DevOps experience and Terraform expertise (preferred).
- Experience collaborating with Implementation consultants (preferred).
- Certifications (advantageous): OCI Architect Associate/Professional, Migration & Integration Specialist, Security Associate/Professional, Cloud Operations Associate, or Integration Cloud Specialist.
