Compliance Administrator
The Compliance Administrator is the key link between Driveway Customer Service Associates and Driveway customers for all paperwork processing. This is a senior customer service & administrative service position that focuses on creating a timely and seamless experience for our Driveway customers. This is achieved through communication of entire process with customer, validating completeness of supporting documentation, preparing all deal related paperwork, and coordinating DMV paperwork. This position will be the primary point of contact for our Driveway customers as it relates to the deal and DMV paperwork and process. This position is also responsible for coordinating vehicle availability as well as handing off fully executed Driveway deals to the respective Dealership Accounting team.
The Compliance Administrator reports to the Brand Leader.
Responsibilities
- Sets clear expectations with the customer around the deal paperwork and DMV process, including any follow up questions
- Create and complete all deal related paperwork (including DMV) in DMS, bank approval systems and protection product systems (where applicable)
- Transact paperwork with customers using digital tools where possible, including trade paperwork if applicable
- Once paperwork is received, coordinate with the DCC that vehicle can be shipped
- Process all paperwork and ensures it meets the needs of the Business Office (including proof of delivery), state specific DMV and lender requirements.
- Expedites processing of DMV transactions for in-state deals and timely coordination of out of state deals with Interstate DMV Coordinator or DMV provider, as applicable
- Scan / send all deal documentation to the Deal Posting team in the Regional Business Office or Dealership Accountant in a stand-alone business office
- Work with Business Office to track deal receivables and follow-up on outstanding items to ensure collection of all money and bank stipulations for contract funding.
