Overview:
We are seeking an exceptional Tech Lead for Risk Control to be based in our Hong Kong or Shenzhen office, tasked with scaling our data engineering capabilities from the ground up. You will be responsible for building and leading the development of systems and platforms that ensure risk management and fraud prevention. This is a critical role as we scale our operations, and you will have the opportunity to shape the entire risk control infrastructure from 0 to 1.
Key Responsibilities:
- System and Platform Development: Design, build, and implement risk control systems and platforms, ensuring scalability, robustness, and performance.
- Team Leadership: Work as a senior member of the risk control engineering team, offering technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management processes into the company's core systems and business operations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 2-3 years of direct experience in the risk control domain.
- Experience in crypto exchanges is highly preferred, though candidates from internet companies will also be considered.
- Ability to work independently in a startup or high-growth environment, contributing as a senior engineer before the team is built up.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin, essential for managing cross-functional teams and facilitating communication across global and local operations.
