HIGH RISK CANCER AND GENETICS , Huntsman Cancer Institute and University of Utah. Huntsman Cancer Institute and the Oncology and GI Divisions in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah are recruiting faculty candidates in the tenure or clinical track; rank depending on qualifications. Candidates must be a MD or MD/PhD, Board certified in Internal Medicine, Board Certified or eligible in Medical Oncology or Gastroenterology, and preferably having established or showing promise of establishing a clinical and/or translational research career in high risk cancer research or cancer genetics. Recruitment is ongoing until suitable candidates are identified or the search is closed. The candidate will join highly collaborative team of physicians, genetic counselors, and population scientists in the Family Cancer Assessment Clinic at the Huntsman Cancer Institute (http://healthcare.utah.edu/huntsmancancerinstitute/patient-care/clinics-and-care-teams/high-risk-cancer-research-clinics-and-studies/). The position would involve providing clinical care in the hereditary cancer clinic that serves affected and at-risk individuals with a diverse range of hereditary cancer syndromes, and continuing or developing a related research program.
