Job Description
Sr. Associate, IT compliance is part of IT compliance team who will be an interface between GRC team and IT team. This role will be responsible to ensure the company policies are translated into operational procedures by IT team and ensure they are properly implemented through governance & internal assessments.
Essential functions:
- Understanding the various audit/assessment landscape of the company
- Be a point of contact to convey the security policy changes to key stakeholders
- Evaluating internal operational and procedural compliance
- Co-ordinating with key stake holders to keep the compliance related documents up to date
- Developing and maintaining a compliance record keeping system
- Evaluate procedural compliance through governance/assessment through metrics, dashboard, etc.,
- Perform quarterly privilege access review to ensure compliance with policies
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in compliance role with atleast 1 year experience in Windows or Unix system administration or network administration.
Knowledge & skills
- Basic knowledge of different authentication and authorization techniques
- Ability to rationalize data from a variety of resources to visualize the big picture (enterprise-wide)
- System administration knowledge in either Windows or Unix
- Good written & verbal communication; ability to write crisp & concise technical reports
- Collaborate & co-ordinate with many stakeholders as needed; time management skills to handle escalations as needed
- Strong communication and customer interaction skills.
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
