Descriptiononsemi is seeking a driven, self-motivated professional to join their Customs and Compliance team located in Scottsdale, AZ. As a Customs and Compliance Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work with global teams in support of import export-related issues for US and international shipments. These duties include providing the correct HTS classifications, helping with clearance issues and working closely with the internal logistics team in support of US shipping operations.
ResponsibilitiesCandidates for this position will be responsible for the following functions within the Logistics Group in the Supply Chain organization at onsemi.
- Communicate with internal teams to support correct HTS classifications
- Provide onsemi’s brokers with support for import shipments
- Generate Manufacturer Affidavit Requests
- Work with onsemi suppliers to support export efforts
- Confirm ECCN and HTS classifications for asset transfer
- Ability to generate import/export ACE reports and review activities and build customs compliance dashboard
- Work with multiple internal teams to support process improvements
- Maintain HTS parts database
Qualifications- BA/BS min in Supply Chain/ Logistics
- 8+ yrs of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High level Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- SQL and Python skills a plus
- Experience with Power BI and Tableau a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management/Logistics or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting demands and priorities
